Christmas holiday bin collection - Monday 21st December 2020

Waste bins ready for collection

Please note that the waste & food bins will be collected one day earlier on Monday 21 December.

The following week the recycling and food bins will be on the normal Tuesday 29 December.

There will be no garden waste collection between 19th December 2020 and 3rd January 2021.

Planned Essential Maintenance - Website Downtime - Tuesday 29th September

Our service provider will be doing some essential maintenance work next Tuesday morning (29th Sept). This will mean that the Council's website won't be available most of that morning and maybe some of the afternoon.

This work is necessary in order to increase the capacity and speed of their servers.

In line with the Government guidance issued last week on social distancing, the directors of the Chelston Rise management company have confirmed that the play area has been closed and a reminder circulated on the Chelston Rise Facebook page.

Council Tax

Council Tax

The Council Tax bills will be arriving through your post box shortly, and for residents in East Northants, ENC has provided a leaflet showing the percentages that each Council receives. The figure of 6% quoted for Parish and Town Councils is an average across the district.

The actual figures for this parish are that the Parish Council only receives 3% of the funds.

The Council has been quietly using Twitter as a Social Media platform for the last year, as an experiment to see how easy (or hard) it would be to keep residents up to speed with local events via Social Media.
