The Environment Agency has drafted the permit for the Waste to Fuel plant in Upper Higham Lane and this is now available for the public to comment on until 6th June 2019.

Star & Garter re-listed as a Asset of Community Value

ENC has re-listed the Star & Garter, and adjacent pub field to the rear, as an Asset of Community Value (ACV) for another 5 years.

The site was re-nominated by the Parish Council in November 2018, to protect it as a major community asset in the parish, as described in the Neighbourhood Development Plan.

Mi Amigo B17 crash - Fly past to mark 75 years

On Friday 22nd February 2019, aircraft from the USAF 48th Fighter Wing, the 100th Air Refueling Wing and the 352nd Special Operations Wings will fly past the crash site memorial in Endclliffe Park, Sheffield, to pay tribute to the 10 US aircrew of the Mi Amigo who lost their lives 75 years ago.
