Advance notice of roadworks - 9th to 24th June - at Chelston Rise
Advance notice that the Caldecott - Newton Bromswold road will be closed by Chelston Rise from 9th to 24th June for sewer works by Gladstone Construction.

305th BG(H) memorial cleaning
The memorial to the 305th BG(H) who flew out of WW2 RAF Chelveston has been cleaned today by IMI using steam (not water jet).
The two wooden benches have been removed for cleaning and teak oiling and will return later this month.

Road Closure - Bidwell Lane for 3rd - 5th May

The first of three defibrillators goes live
The first of three defibrillators being installed in the parish by the Parish Council went live on St Georges Day (23rd April).
Cllrs Cinnamond, Hill & Seaman (Chair) with the Zoll Plus AED. They will be maintained in partnership with the East Northants Community First Responders.

Application for a Parish Flagpole
The Parish Council has applied to NNC for planning consent for a flagpole at the Village Hall, for the flying of ceremonial flags on appropriate civic occasions.
It will have an internal halyard, eliminating the noise often caused by the halyard hitting the pole in the wind.

Council Tax increase
The Council Tax Bills are arriving through your letterbox this week. For the parish residents, the increase in funding for your local Parish Council is around 1.1%, which works out at less than 70p extra for the year at Band D.
