LED street lighting changeover continues

Street light being changed over

The rollout of the LED lighting in the parish continues, with the Zeta Specialist Lighting contractors, Webheath Services, working through the weekend, using their zero emissions electric MEWP.

All the lights in Chelston Rise have now been changed over.

Our new noticeboard has arrived today, outside the Village Hall. Earth Anchors Ltd modified their design to fit the existing posts.

Parish notices on the left, public notices (no key required) on the right. Please use the magnets, not staple-guns on the metal backboard!

Bell tolls & Prayers at St Johns for the Duke of Edinburgh

A half-muffled bell was tolled 99 times at 12 noon at St John's on Saturday 10th April along with other churches and cathedrals across the country.

The church will be open especially from 10am-4pm on Sunday 11th April for prayers to be offered and candles lit in memory of Prince Philip. Some short prayers will be said at 3pm at St John's and at 3.30pm there will be an Online Service of Commemoration... Read More »
