Bell tolls & Prayers at St Johns for the Duke of Edinburgh
A half-muffled bell was tolled 99 times at 12 noon at St John's on Saturday 10th April along with other churches and cathedrals across the country.
The church will be open especially from 10am-4pm on Sunday 11th April for prayers to be offered and candles lit in memory of Prince Philip. Some short prayers will be said at 3pm at St John's and at 3.30pm there will be an Online Service of Commemoration from Peterborough Cathedral available via the Cathedral Facebook Page
Please be aware that the Palace have requested no flowers and instead donations to be given to charity, but if anyone wishes to lay floral tributes around the church they can be placed in front of the East End at St John's.
