Derek Lawson MBE passed away on Friday 18th August 2023. Derek served as a member of Higham Ferrers Town Council for 57 years, as a member of the East Northants District Council for 20 years, and as a member of the Northamptonshire County Council (NCC) for 40 years.

The Fun Dog show will be held on Sunday 3rd September, in the paddock at the rear of the Chelveston Village Hall, Caldecott Road, NN9 6AT. Opens at 12 noon.
This is an open-air, socially distanced event, so please bring your own chairs/picnic blankets.

A detachment from the 305th Air Mobility Wing led by Col Elizabeth Hanson and CMSgt Kolcun presented a Guidon (a unit colour) to the parish at a service at St Johns. The Guidon was received by Rev Paul Needle.
A wreath was laid at the tower memorial to the WW2 305th Bombardment Group (Heavy) that flew from RAF Chelveston 80 years ago.

The annual meeting of electors in the parish will be held in the Village Hall at 7:30pm on Mon 22nd May.
