Be advised there are roadworks under traffic light control on the B645 (Higham Road), for Openreach, after the Caldecott Road turn.
Currently showing as in place from Weds 23 to Fri 25 August 2023.

Derek Lawson MBE
Derek Lawson MBE passed away on Friday 18th August 2023. Derek served as a member of Higham Ferrers Town Council for 57 years, as a member of the East Northants District Council for 20 years, and as a member of the Northamptonshire County Council (NCC) for 40 years.

The Annual Chelveston Fun Dog Show
The Fun Dog show will be held on Sunday 3rd September, in the paddock at the rear of the Chelveston Village Hall, Caldecott Road, NN9 6AT. Opens at 12 noon.
This is an open-air, socially distanced event, so please bring your own chairs/picnic blankets.

Road closed in Caldecott
Be advised that the road through Caldecott is now closed for Anglian Water whilst they dig up the road to fix the leak.

Anglian Water have been notified (ref 23802648) and are due to attend in the next three days.

The 305th AMW present a Guidon to the Parish
A detachment from the 305th Air Mobility Wing led by Col Elizabeth Hanson and CMSgt Kolcun presented a Guidon (a unit colour) to the parish at a service at St Johns. The Guidon was received by Rev Paul Needle.
A wreath was laid at the tower memorial to the WW2 305th Bombardment Group (Heavy) that flew from RAF Chelveston 80 years ago.

Annual Parish Assembly 2023
The annual meeting of electors in the parish will be held in the Village Hall at 7:30pm on Mon 22nd May.
You can hear what the Parish Council did over the year, see the draft accounts, check on the progress of the NDP, and elect a Trustee to the Chelveston Wind Farm Community Benefit Fund Trust for 2023-27.
