At a time when we are all too aware of how prices are rising we are so grateful for your continued support of those less fortunate. Our current shortages are tins of carrots, peas, and sweetcorn, tinned meat and fish, semi-skimmed UHT milk, jars of jam, washing up liquid, anti-bacterial spray, bleach and toilet rolls, small jars of coffee and small bags of sugar (no baked beans, soup or pasta please, we have lots!).
If you have any surplus large supermarket bags (the bag for life type) in good condition, we can always put them to good use. They can be left in church with the other donations.
The donation box is at the back of St John's church (near the toilet). As always, thank you for your continued support.
The food bank distribution point is in Rushden, and it is run by the East Northants Community Services. The address is 19-21 Church Street, Rushden, NN10 9YU.
Telephone number is 01933 733001.
