Financial Information
Like all public bodies, the Council must be able to account for the monies that it receives and spends. As such, it is subject to internal and external audit, and the accounts are available to public inspection.
This webpage provides the financial information as required by the auditors. It is also available in a standardised format know as the Transparency Code set by the Government.
FY2023-24
Precept (FY2023-24)
The budget for the financial year from the 1st April 2023 to the 31st March 2024 was prepared by the Parish Council in January 2023. As a result of the budget, a Precept Demand for £12,000 was made on NNC.
This is £300 (2.56%) higher than last year - FY2022-23.
There were the equivalent of 222 Band D properties in the parish in January 2023 (same as last year), so £12,000 / 222 = £54.05. This £1.35 (2.56%) higher than for FY2022-23.
This is the rate of council tax per Band D property.
