The Environment Team
The Parish Council's Environment Team, organises environmental awareness events for the benefits of the residents.
Technically, it is set up as an informal team or working party to assist the Council, and its role is to plan and organise a wide variety of environmental events for the parish, so as to promote environmental awareness. It is made up of one Councillor (Cllr Jenny Harwood) and 5 residents.
The Environment Team was created on 11th July 2022 and its membership is reviewed annually.

Special Editions of the Parish Newsletter, focused on environmental matters.
- Bin Twinning 2022
The Parish became the first Bin Twin Community in the UK in 2022.
- Nature Discovery Day 2022
Activities for all ages, discovering the natural world in the parish.
- Welcome Spring 2023
A family event at St John's to welcome the arrival of Spring
