The Dog Show is taking place at the Village Hall, from 12 noon. There will be BBQ food and show categories include best cross breeds, waggiest tail and under 14s.

The second Saturday in September always sees the Northamptonshire Historic Churches Trust sponsored Ride and Stride.

This event, which is held annually, involves cycling or walking around the local countryside visiting our village churches. The churches should be open between 10.00 am and 6.00 pm.

50% of all monies raised are returned to your local church fabric fund.

'Making History’ at Stanwick Lakes!

'Making History’ at Stanwick Lakes!

Come along to Stanwick Lakes on the 23rdor 24th September and be a part of 'Making History'! This fabulous FREE 2 day Victorian event will have a host of Traditional Crafts demonstrations, the amazing re-enactor group 'The Ragged Victorians', Morris dancers, period music, family activities and traditional refreshments.

The 'Making History' weekend celebrates the completion of Rockingham Forest Trust's four year Heritage Lottery funded project, Trading Places. It is also the finale event of the 2017 Nene Valley Festival which celebrates the Wildlife, Heritage and Culture of the Nene Valley. The event is free and runs from 11:00am to 4:00pm on both days, standard car parking charges apply.
